Brussels (Belgium) – From 7 to 9 June 2023, Colonel VAZ, Commander of the Brazilian Peace Operations Joint Training Center (CCOPAB), participated, as a guest, in the Annual Conference of the European Association of Peace Operations Training Centers (EAPTC), organized by the European Security and Defense College (ESDC).
Rio de Janeiro (RJ) – From 29 May to 07 June 2023, the Brazilian Peace Operations Joint Training Center (CCOPAB) carried out the United Nations Protection of Civilians Course (UNPOC), aiming at preparing military and police personnel to hold positions regarding the Protection of Civilians system, within the scope of the United Nations peacekeeping operations (UNPKOs).
Rio de Janeiro (RJ) – On 7 June 2023, the Brazilian Peace Operations Joint Training Center (CCOPAB) received a visit of a delegation from the War College of Mexico, composed of its Director, Colonel JOSÉ LUIS GARCÍA ROSAS, two instructors, and 60 officers - students of the War College. Also, the Air and Military Attaché of Mexico in Brazil, Major General ALEJANDRO ALCÁNTARA ÁVILA, and other two military personnel from the Brazilian Ministry of Defense came along with the delegation.
Rio de Janeiro (RJ) – No dia 07 de junho de 2023, o Capitão LUCAS BASTOS DE SOUZA, Instrutor do Centro Conjunto de Operações de Paz do Brasil (CCOPAB), proferiu uma palestra sobre o tema “Preparação de Contingentes para a Operação Acolhida”, atendendo a uma solicitação do Instituto Meira Mattos (IMM), da Escola de Comando e Estado-Maior do Exército (ECEME).
Rio de Janeiro (RJ) – No período de 03 de abril a 02 de junho de 2023, o Centro Conjunto de Operações de Paz do Brasil (CCOPAB) realizou o Estágio de Preparação para Missão de Paz (EPMP) 2023.1, capacitando quarenta futuros capacetes azuis, brasileiros e de nação amiga. Os estagiários brasileiros são provenientes das três Forças Armadas, além das Polícias Militares dos Estados da Bahia, Pernambuco e Santa Catarina. Já a discente estrangeira é oriunda do Exército da Guiana.
Rio de Janeiro (RJ) – No dia 29 de maio de 2023, o Centro Conjunto de Operações de Paz do Brasil (CCOPAB) realizou a cerimônia alusiva ao Dia Internacional dos Mantenedores da Paz das Nações Unidas (International Day of United Nations Peacekeepers), data estabelecida pela organização intergovernamental, para reconhecer o profissionalismo, a dedicação e a coragem de homens e mulheres que serviram e que continuam servindo em missões de paz.
