CCOPAB, in partnership with the UN Department of Safety and Security, carried out a SSAFE (Safe and Security Approaches in Field Environment) training from October 09 to 11.
On the 11, the Center topped the activities by carrying out a day full of practical exercises emphasizing techniques of moving in risky areas, first aid and conduct when taken as hostage
On October 8, 2012, the Brazilian Peacekeeping Operations Joint Center hosted a committee from the Brazilian Command of Land Operations headed by Mr. GEN JOÃO CARLOS VILELA MORGERO, Commander of Land Operations.
The guests were hosted by the Commander of CCOPAB, Colonel Baganha, who made an institutional presentation concerning the Center and its activities.
On October 5, 2012, the Brazilian Peacekeeping Operations Joint Center hosted Air Force General Ricardo Machado Vieira, Chief of Joint Operations Staff of the Brazilian Armed Forces, and Rear Admiral (Brazilian Marines) Jorge Armando Nery Soares, Deputy Commander of Operational Logistics.

Captain Ana Cardoso, from CCOPAB, has taken part in the "Intermediate Course on Technical English for Military Peace Operations". The course was held from 25 to 28 of September at the Argentinean Peacekeeping Operations Joint Center (CAECOPAZ) in the city of Buenos Aires, Argentina.
On September 26, 2012, the Brazilian Peacekeeping Operations Joint Center hosted a committee from the Brazilian Army Commander's Office composed by COL Marcus Vinícius Fontoura de Melo, 2nd LT Clézio Adel Tavares Moreira, 1st SGT Emir de Lima Rocha, 1st SGT Cleomar Meneses Brasil and 1st SGT Émerson Raymundo Fontoura.

On September 18, 2012, the Brazilian Peacekeeping Operations Joint Center hosted two members of the Delegation of the European Union in Brazil. Those representatives were Mr. Simone Pieri, Chief of the Section of Politics, Economy and Communication, and Mr. Walter Stevens, Director of Crisis Management and of the Planning Section.
The visitors were hosted by Air Force Lieutenant Colonel Salomão, who made an institutional presentation about the Center. After that, they visited the exhibitions "Rondon: the Marshal of Peace" and "Sports, Development and Peace" at Sergio Vieira de Mello Cultural Facility.
