7 dia1February 26, 2013 was the seventh day of EPCSUPel of the 18th Brazilian Contingent/Haiti. Cpt Popov gave instructions on Holding techniques (Wrestling – Simple Practices) and conducts with UNPOL and HNP (Dealing with prisoners) in the morning

 

 

The 6th day of EPCSUPEL

6 dia1DOn the 6th day of EPCSUPEL, instructions on Task Force (mechanized and motorized); Convoy Escort; Foot, Mechanized and Motorized Patrols were given in the morning. In the afternoon, the students had instructions on Riot Control Operations and Security and Protection of Civilians.

The fourth day of the Course for Subunit and Platoon Commanders

epe4dia On February 21, 2013, the fourth day of the Course for Subunit and Platoon Commanders (acronym in Portuguese: EPCSUPel) of the 18th Brazilian Contingent in Haiti, the apprentices were trained on combat techniques in urban environment at the Instruction and Specialization Center of Non-Commissioned Officers from the Military Police of the State of Rio de Janeiro (acronym in Portuguese: CFAP/PMERJ). In the afternoon, the apprentices were trained on shooting with non-lethal weapons at the Instruction Field of Gericinó (in Portuguese: Campo de Instrução de Gericinó) by CCOPAB's Instructor 1st LT DE SOUZA.

Third day of the Course for Subunit and Platoon Commanders

IMG 2262 640x427During the third day of the Course for Subunit and Platoon Commanders (acronym in Portuguese: EPCSUPel) of the 18th Brazilian Contingent in Haiti, the apprentices participated in the shooting exercises in order to adapt their practice to stressful conditions and also according to the Rules of Engagement (ROE). The activity was held at the Instruction Field of Gericinó (in Portuguese: Campo de Instrução de Gericinó) and was covered by a team of the Brazilian TV broadcast Rede TV from the state of São Paulo.
