4th day of the 22nd Annual Conference of IAPTC

Sarajevo (Bosnia and Herzegovina) - In the morning of Sept 29, 4th and last day of the Conference, following the same format of the previous days, the speakers talked about "Peace Reviews and Their Future Implications for Training", in which they addressed issues about the implications in training after the High-Level Independent Panel on Peace Operations (HIPPO) and the Strategic Guidance Framework (SGF). Besides, one of the speakers mentioned new approaches in pre-deployment training. Following that phase, the audience was split into groups and, later, gave feedback on their discussions to the whole plenary.

2nd day of the 22nd Annual Conference of IAPTC

Sarajevo (Bosnia and Herzegovina) – On the 2nd day of the Conference, 27 of September, the theme addressed was “Training Together to Work Together – Military, Police and Civilian Perspectives”. Following the methodology adopted this year, there were three speakers, who addressed the theme, an opening for a Q&A session and the division of the audience into groups for discussion, including a feedback later to the whole plenary.

CCOPAB participates in the 22nd Conference of IAPTC

Sarajevo (Bosnia and Herzegovina) - On 26 September, the Brazilian Peace Operations Joint Training Center (CCOPAB) participated in the 22nd Annual Conference of the International Association of Peacekeeping Training Centers (IAPTC).The event, which takes place this year in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, will be held from 26 to 29 September and will have the participation of 55 countries and 197 attendees.The aim of the event is to promote training partnerships and contributions to strengthen the structures of the regional associations.

CCOPAB sends a Mobile Training Team to Namibia

Windhoek (Namibia) - The Brazilian Peace Operations Joint Training Center (CCOPAB, acronym in Portuguese) sent a Mobile Training Team (MTT) to Namibia, an African friendly nation. The cooperation was from 14 to 23 September and was accomplished in two phases with 24 students, among whom there were captains and senior officers.
