CCOPAB takes part in the VI International Course of UNMEM and VI International Course of UNMSO in Ecuador

Quito (Ecuador) - From October 3 to November 10, the Chief of CCOPAB's Translators and Interpreters Division, Major Christiane Lima, will take part as an instructor in the VI International Course of United Nations Military Experts on Mission (UNMEM) and VI International Course of United Nations Military Staff Officer (UNMSO) to be carried out in the facilities of the Unidad Escuela Misiones de Paz "Ecuador" (UEMPE), in Quito, Ecuador.

CCOPAB starts the second phase of the Military Experts on Mission Course 2016.2

Vila Militar (RJ) – On 03 October 2016, the Brazilian Peace Operations Joint Training Center (CCOPAB, acronym in Portuguese) started out the second phase of the Military Experts on Mission Course (EPMP, acronym in Portuguese). This phase lasts for four weeks and aims to provide military students with the English language communication skills, making use of general and technical vocabulary, functional grammar, technical writing and conversation classes regarding the activities developed by military personnel working as UN MILOBS and UN Staff Officers. Thirteen Brazilian Army Officers are taking part in this phase.

CCOPAB starts BRABAT 25’s EAOP

Jaboatão dos Guararapes (PE) - On 11 October, the Brazilian Peace Operations Joint Training Center (CCOPAB) started the UN Pre-deployment Advanced Field Exercise (EAOP, acronym in Portuguese). It aims to evaluate and certify the troop of the Brazilian Battalion (BRABAT) which will take part in the 25th Brazilian Contingent to the United Nations Stabilization Mission in Haiti (MINUSTAH).

CCOPAB represents Brazil in the Conference of the International Association of Peacekeeping Training Centres

Sarajevo (Bosnia and Herzegovina) - The Brazilian Peace Operations Joint Training Center (CCOPAB) took part in the 22nd Annual Conference of the International Association of Peacekeeping Training Centres (IAPTC). The aim of the conference is to promote training partnerships and contribute to the strengthening of the structures of the regional associations. The event took place from September 26 to 30 and had the participation of 197 people from 55 countries.
