Vila Militar (RJ) – On 28 October 2016, the Brazilian Peace Operations Joint Training Center (CCOPAB, acronym in Portuguese) ended the second phase of the Military Experts on Mission Course (EPMP, acronym in Portuguese). This phase lasted for four weeks and prepared the military personnel to be able to communicate in English, by learning general and technical vocabulary, regarding the activities carried out by military personnel working as UN MILOBS and UN Staff Officers.

CCOPAB participates in the Academic Week of the International Relations Course at UNICURITIBA

CCOPAB was invited by UNICURITIBA to lecture on the subject: "Peace operations" for academics and professors of the International Relations and Law courses in celebration of the United Nations day. Moreover, topics in common with the research line of Peacekeeping were discussed with the rectorate of this renowned university and with representatives of the State Military Police of Paraná.

CCOPAB carries out the UN Pre-deployment Advanced Field Exercise and certifies BRABAT 25

Jaboatão dos Guararapes (PE) - On 21 October, the Brazilian Peace Operations Joint Training Center (CCOPAB) carried out the Certification Ceremony of the Brazilian Battalion (BRABAT) that is going to compose the 25th Brazilian Contingent of the United Nations Stabilization Mission in Haiti (MINUSTAH, acronym in French). The ceremony was during the After Action Review (AAR) of the UN Pre-deployment Advanced Field Exercise (EAOP, acronym in Portuguese), aiming to hand in the Certification of Battalion’s Certificates in compliance with the norms established by the United Nations (UN).
