CCOPAB supports UN SAAT during the evaluation of Brazilian police personnel

Brasília (DF) – From 12 to 17 December 2021, the Brazilian Peace Operations Joint Training Center (CCOPAB) supported the Selection Assistance and Assessment Team (SAAT), a UN team in charge of administering tests to police personnel volunteering for peace missions. The tests comprised English and French proficiency exams, interviews, computer skills, driving skills and shooting.

Brazilian Peace Operations Joint Training Center Command Handover Ceremony

Rio de Janeiro (RJ) – On 10 December 2021, the Brazilian Peace Operations Joint Training Center carried out its Command Handover Ceremony presided over by General André Luis Novaes Miranda, Head of the Amy Department of Education and Culture (DECEx, acronym in Portuguese). On the occasion, Colonel (Corps of Engineers) Márcio Carneiro Barbosa relinquished duties of CCOPAB Commander to Colonel (Armour) Carlos Alberto Moutinho Vaz, during the change of command ceremony.

CCOPAB takes part in the virtual seminar on Exercise VIKING 22, conducted by the Ministry of Defense (MoD).

Rio de Janeiro (RJ) – On 9 December 2021, the Brazilian Peace Operations Joint Training Center – Sergio Vieira de Mello Center – a Brazilian Army educational organization, supervised by the Department of Military Technical Education, took part in the virtual seminar promoted by the Deputy Chief of Peacekeeping Operations (SC-4) of the MoD. The aim of the activity was to address challenges and training strategies, both for those who will be in the Direction of the Exercise, and for those who will be subjected to challenges at the tactical level.

CCOPAB carries out Specific Preparation of Female Military Personnel for Peace Missions

Rio de Janeiro - From November 22 to December 3, 2021, the Brazilian Peace Operations Joint Training Center (CCOPAB, acronym in Portuguese) - Sergio Vieira de Mello Center -, a Brazilian Army Teaching Establishment, subordinate to the Department of Military Technical Education conducted the Course for Specific Preparation of Female Military Personnel for Peace Missions (EPESFMP, acronym in Portuguese).
