Osasco (SP) – From December 9 to 13, 2024, a Mobile Training Team (MTT) from the Brazilian Peace Operations Joint Training Center (CCOPAB) supported the preparation of military personnel from the Southeastern Military Command (CMSE) who will form the 20th Contingent of the Humanitarian Logistics Task Force (Operation Acolhida).
Brasília (DF) – From December 8 to 13, 2024, the Brazilian Peace Operations Joint Training Center (CCOPAB) supported the Assessment Mission Service (AMS), an evaluation promoted by the United Nations Police (UNPOL) within its member states, when countries show interest in participating with police officers in United Nations Peacekeeping Missions.
Rio de Janeiro (RJ) – From November 25 to December 5, 2024, the Brazilian Peace Operations Joint Training Center (CCOPAB) conducted the Sectoral Course for Specific Preparation of Female Military Personnel for Peace Operations (EPESFOP). The course aimed to enhance the training of the 32 future blue helmets by complementing their knowledge related to combat roles, better preparing them for participation in complex peace operations. This training required them to demonstrate, in practical scenarios, emotional control, fatigue resistance in adverse situations, and other essential skills.
Rio de Janeiro (RJ) – On December 2, 2024, the Brazilian Peace Operations Joint Training Center (CCOPAB) conducted a ceremony for medal presentations, military promotions, and farewells for personnel being transferred. The ceremony recognized the dedication of instructors, the advancement of professionals, and the efforts of those being deployed to new missions.
Santiago - Chile. From November 26 to 28, 2024, the Commander of the Brazilian Peace Operations Joint Training Center (CCOPAB), Colonel ADENIR, attended the XVI Annual Assembly of the Latin American Peacekeeping Training Centers Network (LAPTC), which was held at the Joint Peace Operations Center of Chile (CECOPAC). The event gathered representatives from various Latin American and Caribbean countries, as well as international experts, to discuss and strengthen training and capacity-building practices for peace missions.
Rio de Janeiro (RJ) - No período de 11 a 14 de novembro de 2024, o Centro Conjunto de Operações de Paz do Brasil (CCOPAB) realizou o Estágio de Proteção de Civis (United Nations Protection of Civilians Course – UN PoC), com o objetivo de preparar militares e policiais, brasileiros e de nações amigas, para exercerem funções relacionadas às atividades Proteção de Civis, no âmbito das operações de manutenção da paz da Organização das Nações Unidas (ONU).
