CCOPAB Commander Attends the XVI Annual Assembly of LAPTC

Santiago - Chile. From November 26 to 28, 2024, the Commander of the Brazilian Peace Operations Joint Training Center (CCOPAB), Colonel ADENIR, attended the XVI Annual Assembly of the Latin American Peacekeeping Training Centers Network (LAPTC), which was held at the Joint Peace Operations Center of Chile (CECOPAC). The event gathered representatives from various Latin American and Caribbean countries, as well as international experts, to discuss and strengthen training and capacity-building practices for peace missions.

This year's event focused on the central theme of "Women in Peace Operations," highlighting the significant role of female participation in the context of international peace operations. The Assembly provided a collaborative environment for exchanging experiences between peace operations training centers in the region.

Colonel ADENIR presented the activities conducted by CCOPAB during 2024, including advancements in peace operations training and cooperative initiatives with other countries.

The event also included representatives from Chile's Ministry of Defense, along with members of ALCOPAZ and other international observers.
