CCOPAB Holds Ceremony for Medal Presentation, Promotions and Farewell for Transferred Personnel
Rio de Janeiro (RJ) – On December 2, 2024, the Brazilian Peace Operations Joint Training Center (CCOPAB) conducted a ceremony for medal presentations, military promotions, and farewells for personnel being transferred. The ceremony recognized the dedication of instructors, the advancement of professionals, and the efforts of those being deployed to new missions.
The Marshal Trompowski Medal, awarded to members of the military teaching staff, was presented to Lieutenant Colonel Luanda of the Brazilian Air Force, Captain Lopez from Chile, and Chief Warrant Officer Rementeria from Argentina, in recognition of their services to military education.
During the ceremony, the commander presented new insignias to the promoted military personnel, highlighting the merit and commitment of each individual. The ceremony was also a moment for farewells, with symbolic mementos given to transferred personnel who completed their tours at CCOPAB. The commander expressed gratitude to everyone and wished them success in their new missions.
Through this ceremony, CCOPAB reinforced its commitment to valuing military personnel and promoting international cooperation in peace operations.
