Paris (France) - From 5 to 16 June 2023, Major (Brazilian Air Force) BECKER, an instructor at the Brazilian Peace Operations Joint Training Center (CCOPAB), participated, as a student, in the ToT Course Formation de formateurs aux opérations de maintien de la paix de l'ONU (in French), held at the Military School of France.
Entebbe (Uganda) – From 5 to 16 June 2023, 1st Lieutenant SANTHIAGO, an instructor at the Brazilian Peace Operations Joint Training Center (CCOPAB), participated, as a student, in the Training of Trainers - ToT: Weapons and Ammunition Management in United Nations Peace Operations, held at the United Nations Regional Service Center Entebbe (RSCE).
Rio de Janeiro (RJ) – On 15 June 2023, the Coordination for Evaluation and Development of the Army Higher Military Education (CADESM), from the Army Department of Education and Culture (DECEx), delivered a lecture on Mario Travassos Project, at the Brazilian Peace Operations Joint Training Center.
Rio de Janeiro (RJ) – On 14 June 2023, the Brazilian Peace Operations Joint Training Center (CCOPAB) participated in the Seminar “The Brazilian contributions to UN Peace Operations in the 21st Century", organized by the Brazilian Research Network on Peace Operations (REBRAPAZ), by the Eastern Military Command (CML) and by the Representative Office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Rio de Janeiro (ERERIO), as part of of the celebrations of the International Day of UN Peacekeepers, of 29 May 2023.
Brussels (Belgium) – From 7 to 9 June 2023, Colonel VAZ, Commander of the Brazilian Peace Operations Joint Training Center (CCOPAB), participated, as a guest, in the Annual Conference of the European Association of Peace Operations Training Centers (EAPTC), organized by the European Security and Defense College (ESDC).
Rio de Janeiro (RJ) – From 29 May to 07 June 2023, the Brazilian Peace Operations Joint Training Center (CCOPAB) carried out the United Nations Protection of Civilians Course (UNPOC), aiming at preparing military and police personnel to hold positions regarding the Protection of Civilians system, within the scope of the United Nations peacekeeping operations (UNPKOs).
