CCOPAB instructor participates in UN international training in Uganda
Entebbe (Uganda) – From 5 to 16 June 2023, 1st Lieutenant SANTHIAGO, an instructor at the Brazilian Peace Operations Joint Training Center (CCOPAB), participated, as a student, in the Training of Trainers - ToT: Weapons and Ammunition Management in United Nations Peace Operations, held at the United Nations Regional Service Center Entebbe (RSCE).
The course aimed at training representatives of Troop and Police Contributing Countries(TCC/PCC) towards the safe management of weapons and ammunition, when deployed to UN Peace Operations.
Under the coordination of the United Nations Mine Action Service (UNMAS) and the Geneva International Center for Humanitarian Demining (GICHD), the course trained nine instructors, including the Brazilian officer and representatives from Ghana, Indonesia, Kenya, Moldova, Nepal, Pakistan and Uruguay.
