Rio de Janeiro (RJ) – On 26 December 2022, Brazil Communication Company (EBC, acronym in Portuguese), by means of the public television network TV Brasil, premiered the second episode of the TV documentary “Soldiers of Caxias”, which presented the performance of the Brazilian troops in several peace missions around the world, with emphasis on the “Brazilian Way of Peacekeeping” as well as the training of military and civilians at the Brazilian Peace Operations Joint Training Center (CCOPAB).
Lima (Peru) – From 05 to 16 December 2022, Major Rodrigo BERBERT Eiras, an instructor at the Brazilian Peace Operations Joint Training Center (CCOPAB), participated as a student in the UN Training of Trainers Course (UN ToT) for National Investigation Officers (NIO), coordinated by the United Nations Integrated Training Service (ITS) with support from the Global Peace Operations Initiative (GPOI) of the US Government.
Naqoura and Marjayoun (Lebanon) – From 12 to 16 December 2022, Colonel VAZ, Commander of the Brazilian Peace Operations Joint Training Center (CCOPAB), and Colonel (Ret.) ROLANT, Head of the Peace Missions Section, of the International Affairs Office of the Army, visited the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL), with the main purpose of following the work of the Brazilian Army soldiers up, as members of the Spanish Contingent in the Mission.
Rio de Janeiro (RJ) – On 16 December 2022, the Brazilian Peace Operations Joint Training Center (CCOPAB) delivered food donated by its military personnel, as part of the “Solidarity Christmas” initiative of the 1st Army Division. For the Christmas Celebrations in the Garrison of Vila Militar, the Army Division suggested the gathering and distribution of food to charities and people in need; thus, reinforcing the Brazilian Army campaign - “Helping is in our hands!”
Rio de Janeiro (RJ) – On 15 December 2022, the Brazilian Peace Operations Joint Training Center (CCOPAB) welcomed Major FEDERICO CARPENTIERE, a representative of the Brigata Paracadutisti "Folgore" (Airborne Brigade of the Italian Army), after the officer's visit to the Brazilian Army Airborne Infantry Brigade.
Nairobi (Kenya) – From 28 November to 09 December 2022, Captain CAMILA de Almeida PAIVA, an instructor at the Brazilian Peace Operations Joint Training Center (CCOPAB), attended the 28th edition of the Female Military Officers Course.
