CCOPAB receives visit from an Italian Army Officer
Rio de Janeiro (RJ) – On 15 December 2022, the Brazilian Peace Operations Joint Training Center (CCOPAB) welcomed Major FEDERICO CARPENTIERE, a representative of the Brigata Paracadutisti "Folgore" (Airborne Brigade of the Italian Army), after the officer's visit to the Brazilian Army Airborne Infantry Brigade.
During the visit, he had the opportunity to know the activities carried out by CCOPAB, when it comes to the preparation of military, police and civilian personnel, from Brazil and friendly nations, designated to peace missions and humanitarian demining missions; in addition to the training of contingents for the Humanitarian and Logistic Task Force (Operation ACOLHIDA), as well as the preparation of troops for the United Nations Peacekeeping Capability Readiness System (UNPCRS).
After visiting CCOPAB educational facilities, the Italian officer signed the Book of Honour of CCOPAB.
