O Centro Conjunto de Operações de Paz do Brasil (CCOPAB) deu início, em 17 de setembro de 2018, à 1ª fase do Estágio de Preparação para Missão de Paz (EPMP) 2018/2, realizada na modalidade de Educação a Distância (EAD), por meio do Portal da Educação do Exército Brasileiro.

CCOPAB carries out Military Translators and Interpreters Course

Between August 13 and September 13, the Brazilian Peace Operations Joint Training Center (CCOPAB, acronym in Portuguese) carried out the Military Translators and Interpreters Course (ETMil,acronym in Portuguese). The attendees were 2nd Sergeant DANIEL GONÇALVES DA SILVA, from the 9th Motorized Infantry Brigade and 3rd Sergeant ALINE MARQUES LOPES DO AMARAL, from the 57th Motorized Infantry Battalion.

CCOPAB receives visit from Colombian War College

On September 5, the Brazilian Peace Operations Joint Training Center (CCOPAB, acronym in Portuguese) received the visit of members of the Colombian War College. Major General (Air Force) Fernando Leon Losada Montoya, chief of the delegation, along with Colonel (Air Force) Lincoln Marcel Parada Galvis, Air Force military attaché in Brazil and a delegation of 60 students were hosted by Colonel Machado, CCOPAB's Commander, and other officers.

CCOPAB receives Military Police Peace Force for Preparation Instructions

Rio de Janeiro (RJ) - Between August 27 and 31, the Brazilian Peace Operations Training Center (CCOPAB, acronym in Portuguese) delivered Preparation Instructions for Commanders and Joint Staff (IPCOEM, acronym in Portuguese) and for Commanders of Sub Units, Platoons and Combat Groups (IPCOSUPELGC, acronym in Portuguse) for the Military Police Peace Force Company (Cia PE F Paz, acronym in Portuguese), that is to be available for the United Nations Peacekeeping Capability Readiness System (UNPCRS).

CCOPAB celebrates World Humanitarian Day at Sergio Vieira de Mello School

Rio de Janeiro (RJ) -In the morning of August 31, members of the the Brazilian Peace Operations Joint Training Center (CCOPAB, acronym in Portuguese) visited Sergio Vieira de Mello Municipal School, in Leblon, in order to celebrate World Humanitarian Day. The Brazilian National Anthem was sung and, following there was a lecture for the students on the life of SergioVieira de Mello and on the ways to join the Army. Recrutinha comic book was also distributed to the kids.

CCOPAB carries out Civil-Military Coordination Course for cadets and undergraduates

Rio de Janeiro - Between August 20 and 24, the Brazilian Peace Operations Joint Training Center (CCOPAB, acronym in Portuguese) carried out the Civil-Military Coordination Course (CIMIC), which aims at spreading knowledge regarding coordination tasks in United Nations operations. This was the first edition to take Agulhas Negras Military Academy (AMAN) fourth year cadets as attendees.
