Handover Ceremony at the Brazilian Peace Operations Joint Training Center

Vila Militar - Rio de Janeiro – On March 02, Colonel Carlos Augusto Ramires Teixeira handed over the command of the Brazilian Peace Operations Joint Training Center (CCOPAB, acronym in Portuguese) to Colonel Marco Antônio Estevão Machado. The ceremony was headed by Lieutenant General Mauro Sinott Lopes, Commander of the 1st Army Division.

CCOPAB receives instructions on Central African Republic

On January 30 and 31, the Brazilian Peace Operations Joint Training Center (CCOPAB, acronym in Portuguese) received the visit of the French Army officer, Captain Yoann Yvinec, who came to Brazil to share his operational knowledge on the French mission in Central African Republic (CAR) and on the specific characteristics of the local culture. Officers and NCOs of CCOPAB and of the Eastern Training Center (CA-LESTE, acronym in Portuguese) were the target audience of the lectures as they will be directly employed in the training of personnel who are likely to be deployed to CAR.

CCOPAB prepares the 15th Brazilian Contingent MTF-UNIFIL

From January 22 to 25, the Brazilian Peace Operations Joint Training Center (CCOPAB, acronym in Portuguese) delivered instructions for the 15th Brazilian Contingent of the Maritime Task Force of the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon and for the crew of Independência Frigate, both designated to be deployed to Lebanon Operation XIII. The instructions were held at the Admiral Marques de Leão Training Center (CAAML, acronym in Portuguese).
