CCOPAB bids farewell to discharged military personnel and welcomes an instructor from the Brazilian Navy

Rio de Janeiro (RJ) – On 24 February 2022, during the parade, the Brazilian Peace Operations Joint Training Center (CCOPAB) bid farewell to 15 privates and corporals who will be discharged from active duty on 28 February. Among the military personnel, there were 11 soldiers who received Certificates of Merit and Honor, from the hands of both CCOPAB Commander and the Command Adjutant, ratifying the exemplary conduct during their Military Service.

Rio de Janeiro (RJ) – On 23 February 2022, Colonel Carlos Alberto Moutinho Vaz, Commander of the Brazilian Peace Operations Joint Training Center (CCOPAB), delivered a lecture on “Military Diplomacy”, as part of the instruction cooperation program, at the Brazilian Army Command and General Staff School (ECEME).

Rio de Janeiro (RJ) – On 17 February 2022, as part of the Instruction Cooperation Program (PCI, acronym in Portuguese), LTC (Air Force) Rodrigo Alves dos Santos, Deputy Commander of the Brazilian Peace Operations Joint Training Center (CCOPAB), delivered a lecture to students of the Command and General Staff Course, of the Brazilian Air Force Command and General Staff School (ECEMAR).

CCOPAB takes part in UN working group on Protection of Civilians

Rio de Janeiro (RJ) – On 17 February 2022, the Brazilian Peace Operations Joint Training Center (CCOPAB) participated, by means of a VTC, in the second meeting of the Working Group (WG) in charge of updating the UN POC Implementing Guidelines for Military Components in UN Peacekeeping Operations.

Rio de Janeiro (RJ) - On 15 February 2022, LTC Sandra Nascimento da Hora, Head of the Evaluation Division and CPT Camila de Almeida Paiva, Head of the E-Learning Section, both from the Brazilian Peace Operations Joint Training Center (CCOPAB), participated in a videoconference organized by the Brazilian Army E-learning Center (CEADEx, acronym in Portuguese).
