CCOPAB takes part in the Instruction Cooperation Program at ECEMAR

Rio de Janeiro (RJ) – On 17 February 2022, as part of the Instruction Cooperation Program (PCI, acronym in Portuguese), LTC (Air Force) Rodrigo Alves dos Santos, Deputy Commander of the Brazilian Peace Operations Joint Training Center (CCOPAB), delivered a lecture to students of the Command and General Staff Course, of the Brazilian Air Force Command and General Staff School (ECEMAR).

The given lecture, part of the Studies on Politics and Defense, in the International Relations Module, was about the following: “UN peacekeeping operations: the participation of Brazil since 1948 as well as the current risks and challenges in peace missions.”

On that occasion, there were 104 officers from the Brazilian Air Force, from the branches of Infantry, Aviation and Quartermaster. In addition, there were five officers from friendly nations (Argentina, Colombia, Dominican Republic, India, and the United States).
