Third day of the Course for Subunit and Platoon Commanders

IMG 2262 640x427During the third day of the Course for Subunit and Platoon Commanders (acronym in Portuguese: EPCSUPel) of the 18th Brazilian Contingent in Haiti, the apprentices participated in the shooting exercises in order to adapt their practice to stressful conditions and also according to the Rules of Engagement (ROE). The activity was held at the Instruction Field of Gericinó (in Portuguese: Campo de Instrução de Gericinó) and was covered by a team of the Brazilian TV broadcast Rede TV from the state of São Paulo.

The second day of the Course for Subunit and Platoon Commanders

IMG 2152The second day of the Course for Subunit and Platoon Commanders (acronym in Portuguese: EPCSUPel) of the 18th Brazilian Contingent in Haiti was marked by the presence of illustrious MG AJAX, Commander of the Brazilian Advanced School for Captains (acronym in Portuguese: EsAO). In the first instruction of that morning, MG AJAX dealt with the General Aspects of MINUSTAH and shared with the apprentices some of the experience he was through during his stay in Haiti.

Preparatory Course for Peacekeeping Missions (EPMP)

epmp1 fev13 01NFebruary 08, 2013 was the closing day of the Preparatory Course for Peacekeeping Missions (acronym in Portuguese: EPMP). Soon, 09 (nine) apprentices who concluded the course will be deployed in Haiti as members of MINUSTAH Staff.

Ending of the Course for Military Translators and Interpreters 1-2013

etmil fev13 01On the last day of the Course for Military Translators and Interpreters, the apprentices of the two languages focus of the mission in Haiti ended their practice of translation and version and underwent a general assessment. After those activities, the Supervisor of the course and Chief of CCOPAB's Division of Translators and Interpreters CDR Leonardo Azeredo, gathered the instructors, professors and apprentices to the formal closing of the course by saying motivating words and giving the word to the future chiefs of the sections of translators and interpreters of the mission.

Ending of the Course for Unit Commanders and Staff Officers (EPCOEM)

epcoem2On the last day of the Course for Unit Commanders and Staff Officers, the members of the 18th Brazilian Contingent in Haiti had an instruction on Media Training given by the journalist FLAVIA MELLO. At this opportunity, they had access to the most important tools of communication at present. These tools offer knowledge on how to interact in a safe way with journalists and to keep an appropriate relationship with the press, strengthening the image of the Institution.
