As a member of a committee of representatives of the Ministry of Defense, of the Brazilian Navy's General Staff Officers, of the Brazilian Army's General Staff Officers, of the Brazilian Marines' General Command and of the Brazilian Command of Land Operations, Commander (Marines) Leite, CCOPAB's Deputy Commander, participated in the 4th General Assembly of the Latin American Association of Peacekeeping Operations Training Centers (acronym in Portuguese: ALCOPAZ). During that event he presented the other country members the activities CCOPAB is in charge of for the preparation of the Brazilian military personnel.
CCOPAB Instructor Officer Lieutenant Colonel Mander participated as a lecturer in the Seminar "MALVINAS – 30 YEARS" which was organized by the Institute of Strategic Studies (acronym in Portuguese: INEST) of Universidade Federal Fluminense. The seminar was held on June 18 at Gragoatá Campus in the city of Niterói. The lecture made by the Lieutenant Colonel of the Argentinean Army had the title "The War on Land and its Lessons" and focused the land campaign during the Malvinas War.
On June 11, 1865, brave Brazilians played a leading role in one of the greatest deeds of our History: the victory in the Naval Battle of Riachuelo, which contributed to the favorable outcome in the War of the Triple Alliance. Therefore, the Brazilian Peacekeeping Operations Joint Center carried out the ceremony of the 147th Anniversary Naval Battle of Riachuelo.
The Brazilian Peacekeeping Operations Joint Center was visited by 30 students (sergeants) from the Coastal and Anti-aircraft Artillery School on June 11, 2012.
On this day, Major AMILTON FERNANDO BARBOSA MOLETA, Instructor from the Doctrine Division, gave an institutional lecture in the New Horizon Room in the Integration Pavilion.

On June 06, 2012, the Brazilian Peacekeeping Operations Joint Center (acronym in Portuguese: CCOPAB) hosted a researcher from FAFO – a Norwegian acronym which stands for the Institute for Applied International Studies, who was accompanied by Sandro Costa Santos, the Vice Coordinator of Human Security in the Brazilian NGO Viva Rio.
The visitors were hosted by Coronel Baganha, the Commander of CCOPAB and were informed by him on the activities and projects developed by the Center concerning peacekeeping operations.
From 04 to 06 of June, 2012, the Brazilian Peacekeeping Operations Joint Center (acronym in Portuguese: CCOPAB) held the Maritime Task Force Course (acronym in Portuguese: FTM) – UNIFIL (United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon), which aimed at preparing the officers who will be members of the contingent of the mission in Lebanon.
The course participants were officers from the Brazilian Navy.
