CCOPAB carries out the UN Logistics Course and receives UN Certificate
From November 18 to 29, the UN Logistics and Reimbursement in PKO Course will take place at and be coordinated by the Brazilian Peacekeeping Operations Joint Center (CCOPAB). The opening of the course was performed by Lieutenant General Paulo Sérgio de Melo Carvalho – Under Chief of the Operational Logistics of the Ministry of Defense.
The aim of the course is to enable officers and non-commissioned officers to carry out functions related to administration, logistics and reimbursement in peacekeeping operations.
During the opening of the course, Lieutenant General Carvalho delivered the UNITED NATIONS CERTIFICATE OF TRAINING RECOGNITION to CCOPAB. The present document certified the Experts on Mission Course (EPMP) for Military Observer, coordinated by the Center.
The last phase of the process to grant the certificate happened from May 27 to June 21 of this year when Lieutenant Colonel Assare, from the DPKO, paid a technical visit to the Center. The document expires in August 2017.
