CCOPAB strengthens the bonds with the Brazilian Research Network on Peace Operations (REBRAPAZ)

Rio de Janeiro (RJ) - On 27 August 2021, the Brazilian Peace Operations Joint Training Center - Sergio Vieira de Mello Center, an educational organization under the guidance of the Department of Military Technical Education, welcomed Dr. Ricardo Oliveira, a professor at the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro (PUC-Rio) and an educational coordinator at the Brazilian Research Network on Peace Operations (REBRAPAZ).

During the visit, apart from CCOPAB Commander, the Chief of the Doctrine Division, Mr. Fredymark Cunha Sales, and Mrs. Maynara do Rio Sales (taking her Master’s at IRI/PUC-Rio and future voluntary researcher at CCOPAB) also took part in the activity. Among other issues, volunteer research program (CCOPAB-REBRAPAZ) related topics were discussed.

Sergio Vieira de Mello Center has been a full member of REBRAPAZ since 2016. Since then, the Research Network is under the coordination of Dr. Eduarda Hamann who has been researching and teaching PKO subjects for over 20 years.
