CCOPAB delivers lecture on the impacts of COVID-19 on Peace Operations

Rio de Janeiro - On 24 June 2020, MAJ (Air Force Pilot) Henrique Santos, Chief of the Doctrine Division of the Brazilian Peace Operations Joint Training Center, delivered a lecture on the impacts of COVID-19 pandemic on UN peace operations.

The following topics were covered: fighting actions from the Ground Support Group for COVID-19, best practices to fight the crisis from military, police and civilian personnel - either in the mission environment or in friendly nations, and yet the implications of this very context on the Joint Center activities regarding the preparation of human resources for peace operations.

The target audience, mainly CCOPAB instructors and monitors, received updated information about new challenges in peace operations and the current doctrinal preparation.
