On August 28, there was a meeting with the military conductors and musicians, as well as with the Armed and Auxiliaries Forces' representatives, to present the Sound of Peace project developed by the Brazilian Peacekeeping Operations Joint Center.
August 26 is the opening day of the 4th edition of the Course on Humanitarian Demining at the Brazilian Peacekeeping Operations Joint Center (CCOPAB). The course aims at preparing military personnel to act as international Monitors or Supervisors in Humanitarian Demining under the aegis of international organisms.
From August 23 to 25, the Brazilian Peacekeeping Operations Joint Center (CCOPAB) and other Military Units of the Vila Militar took part in an exhibition promoted by Bangu Shopping Mall. This exhibition made reference to the Soldier Day celebrated on August 25.
During the event, the public had the opportunity to know the work developed in Brazil and abroad by the Brazilian Army.
On August 22, the Sound of Peace Band of the Brazilian Peacekeeping Operations Joint Center (CCOPAB) presented itself in the Army Historical Archives (AHEx), in Duque de Caxias Palace, as part of the celebrations of the Army Day. On August 16, the Sound of Peace Big Band presented itself during the luncheon for members of the Confraria dos Camaradas de Cavaliaria - 3C, a fraternity, in the Military Club of the Military Compound (CMVM).
On the tenth and last day of the Course for Subunit and Platoon Commanders (EPCSUPEL), the apprentices attended lectures and meetings at Sergio Vieira de Mello Cultural Facility and Room Haiti. In the end of the morning, after two weeks of intense theoretical and practical activities, CCOPAB held the closing ceremony of the course at the meeting room of the 57th Motorized Infantry Battalion, presided by Commander (Marines) Costa Reis, Chief of the Doctrine Division of CCOPAB.
