CCOPAB hosts UN’s Undersecretary-General for Humanitarian Affairs
On August 20, the Brazilian Peacekeeping Operations Joint Center (CCOPAB) hosted the Undersecretary-General for Humanitarian Affairs and Coordenador for Help and Emergency, Baroness Valerie Amos (UN OCHA) and the Director of the United Nations Information Center for Brazil (UNIC-Rio) Mr. Giancarlo Summa his committee.
The Baroness was welcomed by the Deputy Commander of CCOPAB Lieutenant Colonel (Air Force) Salomão, who presented an institutional lecture to the guests at CCOPAB's "Salão Nobre". After that, Baroness Valerie Amos signed the Center's Book of Honor.
