On January 15, 2016, there was the handover ceremony at the Brazilian Peace Operations Joint Training Center (CCOPAB, acronym in Portuguese). Colonel Jose Ricardo Vendramin Nunes handed over the command of the Brazilian Peace Operations Joint Center to Coronel Carlos Augusto Ramires Teixeira. The ceremony was headed by Lieutenant General Luiz Eduardo Ramos Pereira, Commander of the 1st Army Division.
From 24 to 26 November, the United Nations Department of Safety and Security (UNDSS), in partnership with the Brazilian Peace Operations Joint Training Center (CCOPAB), carried out the Course on Safe and Secure Approaches in Field Environments (SSAFE) in the facilities of Itamaraty Palace and of CCOPAB. The aim of the course is to enable civilians of the United Nations to carry out field works taking safety and security into account.
From November 16 to 19, CCOPAB carried out the Commander and Staff Course for the Maritime Task Force of the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL/MTF).

From September 28 to October 01, 2015, the 21st Annual Conference of the International Association of Peacekeeping Centres (IAPTC) took place in Brasília. At that opportunity, certificates of appreciation were awarded to people who collaborate with CCOPAB in accomplishing its missions.
