Pelotas (RS) - The beginning of the second week of the UN Pre-Deployment Advanced Field Exercise (EAOP, acronym in Portuguese) had patrols, support to injured Haitians, rescue of a UN employee surrounded by demonstrators, among others.
Pelotas (RS) - In the morning of October 17, 2015, the Brazilian Peace Operations Joint Training Center (CCOPAB) carried out the After Action Review (AAR) of the first week of the UN Pre-Deployment Advanced Field Exercise (EAOP - acronym in Portuguese) as part of the final preparation of the 23rd Brazilian Battalion (BRABAT 23) which will take part in the United Nations Stabilization Mission in Haiti (MINUSTAH, acronym in French).

On October 8, 2015, a delegation of the Argentinean Armed Forces Joint War College, headed by Major General Federico Sidders, visited the Brazilian Peace Operations Joint Training Center (CCOPAB), in order to know the work developed by the Center.
In the morning of October 9, 2015, there was the closing of the Experts on Mission Course (EPMP, acronym in Portuguese) in the Brazilian Peace Operations Joint Training Center (CCOPAB). The Course was divided into three phases: the first, online; the second, on site at the Personnel Studies Center; and the third, also on site, carried out at CCOPAB. This last phase took place from Sept 14 to Oct 09.
From August 28 to October 1, in the Brasil 21 Convention Center, in Brasília, there was the Annual Conference of the International Association of Peacekeeping Centers - 21st IAPTC. The event, promoted by the Ministry of Defense, gathered 200 participants, who were representing 52 countries, to discuss subjects related to activities in Peace Operations.
