On November 22, 2011, there was a meeting with the Ministry of Defense and Armed Forces’ representatives which aim was to discuss issues related to military personnel training for peacekeeping operations. The meeting was headed by the Rear Admiral Jorge Armando Nery Soares from the Ministry of Defense.
At this moment several issued related to the joint performance of CCOPAB and its positioning in relation to other centers and similar international organizations were discussed
From 5 to 7 of October, 2011, two CCOPAB instructors (Military Police of the State of São Paulo Cpt Hélio Tenorio dos Santos, and Military Firefighter of the State of Rio de Janeiro Cpt Marco Antonio Basques Sobrinho) participated in the International Seminar called “Military and Police Cooperation in Peacekeeping Operations” organized by Pearson´s Peacekeeping Centre (PPC) in Canada, and Bolivian Army´s Direction of Peacekeeping. The seminar took place at the Bolivian Army´s General Staff College in the city of Cochabamba, Bolivia,
OOn October 20, the Brazilian Peacekeeping Operations Joint Center (acronym in Portuguese: CCOPAB) hosted the official visit of the Committee of the Board of Directors from the 35th Course of Air Command of India, headed by its Director Major General (Air Force) D.P. Upot and composed by 15 Superior Officers from India's Armed Forces.
On October 8, 2011, CCOPAB supported the event of the direction of Círculo Militar da Vila Militar in celebration of Children´s Day with the exhibition Rondon "The Marshal of Peace" thus presenting the use of telegraphy to the children who participated in the event. There was also the context called "Children´s Day 2011" in which they took pictures wearing costumes as "Soldiers of Peace" and wrote sentences about the topic "PEACE".
On October 10, the Brazilian Peacekeeping Operations Joint Center (acronym in Portuguese: CCOPAB), hosted an illustrious Committee from the Brazilian War College (acronym in Portuguese: ESG), made up by 106 people from the Command general staff, the Board of Instructors and Alumni of the Course of High Political and Strategic Studies (acronym in Portuguese: CAEPE), among whom were Generals, judges, high-rank officers from the Armed Forces, Auxiliary Forces and Friendly Nations (Argentina, Colombia, Ecuador, USA, Guiana, Guatemala, Mexico, Nigeria, Peru and Venezuela), Revenue Inspectors, Attorneys, Professors etc.
On September 30, the Brazilian Peacekeeping Operations Joint Center (acronym in Portuguese: CCOPAB) concluded the Course for Subunit and Platoon Commanders (acronym in Portuguese: EPCSUPel). This course counted on the participation of 88 military personnel among which 14 were from the Brazilian Navy, 69 from the Brazilian Army, 02 from the Brazilian Air Force and 03 were non-commissioned officers from the Brazilian Army.
