CCOPAB participates in the II Seminar of the Brazilian Army Foreign Language Teachers
On 19 July, officers of the Division of Translators and Interpreters (DTI) of the Brazilian Peace Operations Joint Training Center (CCOPAB), participated in the II Seminar of the Brazilian Army Foreign Language Teachers in the Army Languages Center (CIDEx, acronym in Portuguese).
The purpose of the seminar was to show the current stage of the Foreign Language Teaching Restructuring Project in the Brazilian Army, to debate issues related to foreign language teaching in the Army and to have the attendees share their experiences concerning the foreign language field.
Captain Israel Alves de Souza, DTI’s member at CCOPAB, delivered the lecture "The Technical-Professional Preparation of the Military Translator/Interpreter".
