CCOPAB organizes seminar on Peace Missions preparation
On 14 June, CCOPAB hosted a seminar on the topic: "Evaluation Methodology and Certification in the Preparation for Peace Missions". It was one of the events to celebrate CCOPAB's anniversary.
Speakers from the Brazilian Navy, Brazilian Army, Chilean Navy, French Army and Argentine Navy delivered lectures in the event. Along with the military, the Director of Doctors Without Borders in Brazil lectured as well. The presentations were: "Evaluation of the Preparation of Land Operations"; "Evaluation of the Preparation of Naval Operations"; "Evaluation of the Preparation of Humanitarian Aid"; "Evaluation of the Preparation of the Chilean Joint Peacekeeping Operations Center"; "Evaluation of the Argentine Joint Peace Operations Training Center"; and "Evaluation of the Preparation for NATO". The audience was composed of thirty people, including military, civilians, and evaluators from organizations as the Ministry of Defense, Rio de Janeiro Municipal Government, La Salle University, State University of Rio de Janeiro and Igarapé Institute.
