CCOPAB ends the Civil-Military Coordination Course
Rio de Janeiro (RJ) – On Friday, March 18, the ceremony to deliver the certificates represented the end of the first Civil-Military Coordination Course (CIMIC) of 2016, which is part of the preparation of the 24th Brazilian Contingent of the United Nations Mission Stabilization in Haiti.
Throughout the week, officers and non-commissioned officers of the Brazilian Navy, Brazilian Army, Brazilian Air Force, a Chilean officer and civilians, from International Relations and Journalism universities, had different instructions, including: specialized training modules and exchange of experience with the military personnel who have recently returned from peace missions, the participation of NGOs and international organizations in relation to the military component, and techniques of useful tools to carry out UN-CIMIC activities.
At the end of the morning, after a week of intense activities, there was the end of the course, headed by Commander (Navy) Sérvio Corrêa da Rocha Junior, CCOPAB Deputy Commander.
