Beginning of the Subunit Commanders and Platoon Leaders Course 2016.
Rio de Janeiro (RJ) - From 15 to 26 February, the Brazilian Peace Operations Joint Training Center (CCOPAB) is preparing the officers who will be deployed in the UN Stabilization Mission in Haiti as Subunit Commanders and Platoon Leaders of the 24th Brazilian Contingent (CONTBRAS).
In this course, participants will learn about Peace Operations, mainly focusing on the United Nations Stabilization Mission in Haiti (MINUSTAH). They will practice first-aid, learn about International Law, train in the shooting simulator and in field exercises, handle non-lethal weapons and practice combat techniques for urban environments.
The 24th Brazilian Contingent is set to be deployed as of May, 2016.
