Handover Ceremony at the Brazilian Peace Operations Joint Training Center
On January 15, 2016, there was the handover ceremony at the Brazilian Peace Operations Joint Training Center (CCOPAB, acronym in Portuguese). Colonel Jose Ricardo Vendramin Nunes handed over the command of the Brazilian Peace Operations Joint Center to Coronel Carlos Augusto Ramires Teixeira. The ceremony was headed by Lieutenant General Luiz Eduardo Ramos Pereira, Commander of the 1st Army Division.
Before the handover ceremony, there was the unveiling of the picture of the substituted commander, at the former commanders photo gallery, in the auditorium.
During the ceremony, the following authorities were present: Fleet Admiral Fernando Eduardo Studart Wiemer and Major General Glaucio Lucas Alves, Operations Chief of the Land Operations Command.
After the parade, the guests went to Sergio Vieira de Mello Cultural Facility where there was the farewell cocktail to the substituted commander and the welcome to the new commander.
