Land Operations Commander visits CCOPAB
Rio de Janeiro (RJ) - On July 7, 2015, the Land Operations Commander, General Araken de Albuquerque, visited the Brazilian Peace Operations Joint Training Center (CCOPAB). The purpose of the visit was to know the work developed by CCOPAB. The Airborne Brigade Commander, Major General William Georges Felippe Abrahão, and the 9th Motorized Infantry Brigade (School) Commander, Major General Jorge Antônio Smicelato, accompanied the visit.
The generals were welcomed by the Center Commander, Colonel José Ricardo Vendramin Nunes, who presented his officers and carried out an institutional lecture. During the lecture, he talked about a brief background of CCOPAB's creation, its mission, subordination, organization, teaching/learning methodology and future expectations. Afterwards, they visited the center's facilities.
