Visit of the Chief of the Department of International Policy and Planning from the UK Ministry of Defense
Rio de Janeiro (RJ) – the Chief of the Department of International Policy and Planning from the UK Ministry of Defense, Air Commodore Nicholas (Nick) Bray, visited the Brazilian Peace Operations Joint Training Center (CCOPAB) on the afternoon of 29 January.Along with Air Commodore Nick, there were his assistant to issues regarding Brazil, Richard Holman, and the UK Defense Attaché in Brazil, Colonel Av Simon Hindmarsh.
The visit had the purpose of knowing the work carried out by CCOPAB and check the possibility of having British military personnel taking part of courses offered by the Center.
The Commander of CCOPAB, Col José Ricardo Vendramin Nunes, delivered an institutional lecture and then invited the delegation to see the Command Post Exercise (CPX) which was ongoing in the Unit Commanders and Joint Staff Course for CONTBRAS 22 in Haiti.
