CCOPAB Commander receives UN certificate at the Ministry of Defense
On 21 January, the Commander of CCOPAB, Colonel José Ricardo Vendramin Nunes, received the certificate of recognition for the UN Staff Officers Course (EPMP, acronym in Portuguese), granted by the United Nations on 15 November 2014, from the Chief of Joint Operations of the Armed Forces Joint Staff from the Ministry of Defense, Fleet Admiral, Ademir Sobrinho.
The certificate is a result of the assessment visit carried out by Lt Col Adil Fichtali, Training Officer of the Integrated Training Service/ Department of Peacekeeping Operations and Department of Field Support (ITS/DPKO and DFS) from 08 to 17 October 2014.This Joint Center was recognized for being in accordance with the UN training standards.
EPMP - Staff Officer aims at training Brazilian officers and those from friendly nations to work as staff officers in UN peace missions.
