CCOPAB gives support to the Seminar on Peacekeeping Operations and Humanitarian Actions carried out by the South American Defense Council
The Brazilian Peace Operations Joint Training Center (CCOPAB, acronym in Portuguese) was present at the Seminar on Peacekeeping Operations and Humanitarian Actions. The event was offered by the South American Defense Council but coordinated by the Brazilian Navy. CCOPAB Commander gave a lecture on "Preparation and Execution Experiences of Peacekeeping Operations". The center also displayed material on the theme at the Training Center Admiral Sylvio de Camargo (CIASC, acronym in Portuguese). Several military and civilian authorities were present at the event, among them: Lieutenant General Álvaro Gonçalves Wanderley, Deputy Chief of Peace Operations of the Armed Forces Joint Staff of the Ministry of Defense.
