EAOP – First day – Campinas
On October 28, the activities of the PKO Advanced Drills (EAOP) of the 19th Brazilian Battalion (BRABAT), which will be deployed to Haiti in December, started.
Throughout the day, BRABAT went through simulations such as: joint patrol with checkpoint, demonstrations, arrival of foreign delegations, encountering dead bodies, vehicle accidents, meetings with local leaders and medical assistance.
The events are coordinated by the Exercise Direction (DIREX) which is at the 11th Light Infantry Brigade, in Campinas/SP.
