EPMP – First Week

The Experts on Mission Course (EPMP), which takes place at the Brazilian Peacekeeping Operations Joint Center (CCOPAB), concluded its activities scheduled for the first week (from September 23 to 27). During that week, instructions concerning CPTM (Core Pre Deployment Training Material) were delivered to the students –all future peace mission members must know this material, whether they are civilian, military or police personnel. In addition, former Military Observers and Staff Officers gave instructions, and at this opportunity, they could exchange experience with the students. The Army Biology Institute also gave support to the course when it gave the first doses of vaccines necessary for the missions.

There are 35 students at the course. 15 are part of the Staff, 07 are Military Observers and 13 are UNPOL. There are 3 (three) foreign officers in the course: a Lieutenant Commander from the Peruvian Navy as a student, and a Captain from the British Army and a Lieutenant Colonel from the Indian Army as instructors.
