Fourth day of the Course for Subunit and Platoon Commanders (EPCSUPEL) 2013/02
On August 15, the fourth day of the Course for Subunit and Platoon Commanders (EPCSUPEL) of the 19th Brazilian Contingent in Haiti (19º CONTBRAS), the apprentices were divided into groups in order to go through the following activities: in the morning, Lieutenant Commander (Marines) Navi coordinated the "Training of Combat Techniques in Urban Environment" at the Instruction and Specialization Center of Non-Commissioned Officers from the Military Police of the State of Rio de Janeiro (CFAP/PMERJ). After that, 1st LT De Souza talked about the topic "Use of Non-lethal Weapons", at the Instruction Field of Gericinó, followed by 1st LT Eschiletti, who talked about the procedures for "Weapons' Maintenance and Restitution".
Following those activities, Major Colli and 1st LT Marcela Meira passed on lessons learned regarding the period they were stationed in the Mission in Haiti, and after that, there was a videoconference conducted by Major Hebert with the military personnel deployed in Port-au-Prince, Haiti.
At the end of the day, the apprentices attended the instruction by Lieutenant Commander (Marines) Wagner Vinicius concerning the Combat Simulator (Training System for the Use of Legal Force), at Room "Integração" in the facilities of the Brazilian Peacekeeping Operations Joint Center (CCOPAB).
