Logistics and Reimbursement course

The Course on Logistics and Reimbursement of Peacekeeping Operations aims at preparing officers and non-commissioned officers of the armed forces from Brazil and friendly nations to take over functions related to Administration and Logistics of Peacekeeping Operations.
This course lasts two weeks in a total of 80 (eighty) hours of instructions.

The learning activities are divided into three parts: the Logistics of the Brazilian Ministry of Defense for Peacekeeping Operations, the Logistics System of the United Nations (UN) for Peacekeeping Operations and the Reimbursement System of the UN.

During the first week of instructions the course will be focused on the topics related to logistics in Brazil and its deployment in peacekeeping operations under the UN.

The second week of the course will deal with the UN logistics and the reimbursement system of that organization, specifically concerned with the Contingent Owned Equipment (COE) Manual.

2. GENERAL OBJECTIVES OF THE COURSE:

- to develop the professional capability of officers and non commissioned officers to accomplish functions related to administration, logistics and reimbursement in peacekeeping operations.

– to highlight the following attributes of affective domain: self-confidence, impartiality, discretion, adaptability, coherence and communicability.
