CCOPAB welcomes the future Commander
Rio de Janeiro (RJ) – On 22 January 2024, the Brazilian Peace Operations Joint Training Center (CCOPAB) welcomed Colonel ADENIR, future Commander of the Center, as the beginning of the activities set for the transition between the current and future Commander of CCOPAB, which is to culminate with the Handover Ceremony, to be held on 31 January.
The day began with the Guard greeting Colonel ADENIR, followed by a brief meeting with the officers of the Center. At that moment, the future Commander had the opportunity to address, for the first time, CCOPAB military personnel.
Finally, Colonel VAZ, Commander of the Center, delivered a presentation to Colonel ADENIR, before CCOPAB Educational Board. It showed the characteristics of the main and support missions carried out by the “Home of the Peacekeeper”.
