CCOPAB carries out ceremony to pay tribute to the Flag Day
Rio de Janeiro (RJ) – On 19 November 2023, the Brazilian Peace Operations Joint Training Center (CCOPAB) carried out a formation in honor of the Flag Day, celebrated annually in solemn events at Military Organizations across the country. Following the traditions of the date, Colonel VAZ, Commander of CCOPAB, hoisted the Brazilian National Flag at noon, reading the Order of the Day after that. Following the activities, SGM OLIVEIRA, the senior of the NCOs at the ceremony, performed the ceremonial incineration of the old flag considered unserviceable, while the troops sang the Brazilian Flag Anthem.
