CCOPAB and REBRAPAZ carry out ceremony to launch the scientific magazine “CCOPAB and Peace Operations: perspectives, reflections and lessons learned”
Rio de Janeiro - On October 22, the Brazilian Peace Operations Joint Training Center (CCOPAB, acronym in Portuguese) - Sergio Vieira de Mello Center -, a Brazilian Army Teaching Establishment, subordinate to the Department of Military Technical Education (DETMIL, acronym in Portuguese) and the Brazilian Network of Research on Peace Operations (REBRAPAZ, acronym in Portuguese) held a launching ceremony for the 4th edition of the scientific magazine "CCOPAB and Peace Operations: perspectives, reflections and lessons learned".
Among the guests, it is worth to highlight the presence of the following attendees:
- Ambassador Márcia Maro da Silva, Head of the Office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, located in Rio de Janeiro;
- Major General Alexandre Oliveira Cantanhede Lago, Director of the Department of Military Technical Education;
- Professor Dr. Ricardo Oliveira dos Santos, from the Catholic University of Rio and Education Coordinator of REBRAPAZ;
- Dr. Ângela Nogueira Neves, Professor at the Brazilian Army Physical Education School;
- Dr. Daniel Vidal Pérez, from the Brazilian Agricultural Research Corporation;
- Ms. Julia de Souza Lucena Nishio, Master student in International Security and Defense at the Brazilian War College.
CCOPAB’s magazine serves as a means of disseminating the scientific research of REBRAPAZ, whose articles are selected from the papers presented at the Annual Meeting of the network. REBRAPAZ currently has twenty-six partners, 17 institutions, including CCOPAB, and nine associated specialists.
