Preparation of the 9th Contingent of the Humanitarian and Logistic Task Force (ACOLHIDA Operation)

Brasília (DF) and Campo Grande (MS). From 19 to 31 July, the Brazilian Peace Operations Joint Training Center - Sergio Vieira de Mello Center - sent a Mobile Training Team (MTT) to the Garrisons of Brasília (DF) and Campo Grande (MS), in order to contribute with the preparation of the 9th Contingent of the Humanitarian and Logistic Task Force (ACOLHIDA Operation).

Instructors and monitors from the Joint Center, by means of simulated activities, attempted to recreate the reality of roles to be performed by military personnel from Planalto Military Command and Western Military Command, such as working inside the systems of sheltering and interiorization.

COL C. Barbosa, CCOPAB commander, together with instructors from the Division of Education and Training were the MTT members.
