CCOPAB carries out ceremony to celebrate the most important Historic Date of the Brazilian Navy and the Artillery Day
Rio de Janeiro - On 10 June 2020, the Brazilian Peace Operations Joint Training Center, Sergio Vieira de Mello Center, carried out a ceremony to celebrate the Naval Battle of Riachuelo, the most important historic date of the Brazilian Navy. The President’s and the Brazilian Navy Commander’s Orders of the Day were read during the ceremony.
On that same occasion, the Artillery Day and the accomplishments of Field Marshal Emílio Luiz Mallet were also celebrated.
At the end of the activity, CCOPAB commander’s words highlighted the importance of the aforementioned dates, congratulating both the members of the Brazilan Navy and those from the artillery branch posted at CCOPAB.
