CCOPAB provides training to UN DPO job candidates
Rio de Janeiro (RJ) - From 08 to 10 June, the Brazilian Peace Operations Joint Training Center - Sergio Vieira de Mello Center - carried out the DPO Job Candidate Preparation Course, first edition of 2020.
Due to preventive measures to fight COVID-19, the e-learning activity was offered to either develop or improve emotional and cognitive skills during simulated CBIs, so that students were prepared to apply for a position in UN DPO, New York (USA).
The course was offered in the English language; and the students took part in interviews close to the ones to be carried out by UN DPO. All students could experience the challenges of the selection process, mainly practicing interview techniques and written tests.
Six Army officers successfully completed the course.
