CCOPAB delivers lecture for students of the Command and General Staff Course of the Brazilian Army Command and General Staff School
Rio de Janeiro, RJ. On 26 May 2020, by means of an Instruction Request, the Brazilian Peace Operations Joint Training Center - Sergio Vieira de Mello Center - delivered a lecture for senior students of the Command and General Staff Course of the Brazilian Command and General Staff School (ECEME, acronym in Portuguese).
The lecture was part of the Land Component Force Module, whose aim was to show the mission and activities of CCOPAB; to explain the UN structure, characteristics and mission; to differ peacekeeping from peace enforcement missions; and finally to show some CIMIC concepts.
On that occasion, there were 141 Brazilian Army officers (students) at the site.
CCOPAB was represented by COL Márcio Carneiro Barbosa, commander of the Joint Center and MAJ Anderson Félix Geraldo, Chief of the Division of Planning and Coordination.
