CCOPAB participates in the training of the 7th Humanitarian Logistics Task Force Contingent

Rio de Janeiro (RJ) – On 07 November, the Brazilian Peace Operations Joint Training Center, Sergio Vieira de Mello Center, took part in the training of the 7th Humanitarian Logistics Task Force Contingent, which will take action in Acolhida Operation. This activity was carried out in the facilities of the 31st Campaign Artillery Group, in Deodoro, Rio de Janeiro.

Approximately 600 (six hundred) military personnel participated in the exercise. As a role players, 18 (eighteen) International Relations students from the Brazilian Institute of Medicine and Rehabilitation (IBMR) participated in the training.

The CCOPAB carried out the activities of instruction and presentation of workshops that simulated the routine management of the shelters in Boa Vista and Pacaraima, as well as the screening and the information stations.

The CCOPAB team consisted of CAP Lucas, LT Blanco, LT Gualhardi, 1ST Sgt Alan, 2nd Sgt Eduardo, 2nd Sgt Da Silva, 2nd Sgt Casale.

Acolhida Operation is a joint effort of the Brazilian Navy, the Brazilian Army and the Brazilian Air Force, and it has also had the support of government agencies.
