CCOPAB carries out Training of civilians to work in unstable environments
From October 14 to 18, the Brazilian Peace Operations Joint Training Center (CCOPAB, acronym in Portuguese), Sergio Vieira de Mello Center, carried out the Training of civilians to work in unstable environments (EPCAAI, acronym in Portuguese). Through the transmission of basic notions of individual security and protection, the Training aims to raise awareness of the importance of civilian preparation who act or may act in unstable environments in the performance of their duties.
Fifteen civilians from the following Brazilian institutions participated in the training: São Paulo Military Hospital; Pontifical Catholic University; Vale SA; State Secretariat of Justice and Public Security of Minas Gerais; Mato Grosso do Sul Federal University; Brazilian Bar Association from Mato Grosso do Sul; British Consulate; Ministry of Defense; Secretariat of Public Security - Military Brigade of Rio Grande do Sul; Army Physical Training Research Institute; Center for the Study of Personnel and Fort Duque de Caxias; Federal Police and Armando Alvares Penteado Foundation.
