CCOPAB visits French Ship

Rio de Janeiro, RJ – On 3 May, an entourage from the Brazilian Peace Operations Joint Training Center (CCOPAB, acronym in Portuguese) – Sergio Vieira de Mello Center – visited a French Navy Task Force group made up of amphibious assault helicopter carriers (BPC – Bâtiment de Projection et de Commandement) Tonnerre – L 9014, “Mistral” trademark and a frigate La Fayette – F 710, docked at the Rio de Janeiro Port.

At the technical visit, the health military personnel were in touch with how the French health support is carried out on board. In the second part of this visit, military personnel from CCOPAB attended a lecture on the French navy and got to know its facilities.

In the end, a CCOPAB institutional token was given to the French military personnel as a way of saying thanks for this important experience.
